Overview
Rebellion Marketing is a successful digital marketing agency originally centred around the distinctive personality of its founder – an irreverent, no-nonsense entrepreneur with a strong personal profile. This served the business well in building a distinctive brand in a crowded market.
However, with a clear goal to sell the business, the challenge was to demonstrate that Rebellion was a mature, credible agency capable of serving larger clients while retaining the qualities that had driven its success with small and medium-sized businesses.
Polymedia was brought in to help reposition the business, reduce its reliance on the founder and create a stronger proposition for potential acquirers.

The new brand retained Rebellion’s straight-talking, results-driven character while introducing greater trust, professionalism and credibility.
The rebrand was applied across the website and marketing materials, helping present Rebellion as a capable, established and scalable business rather than a personality-led start-up.
The business was subsequently successfully sold.
